I have spent most of my professional life as a State of Washington registered general contractor and in those thirty-one years I can count one hand the number of sub contractors that performed at a level that exceeded my expectations. Michael Hooper and GCP are included in that exclusive group.

My first experience with GCP was on a commercial job in which my company was rebuilding two weather exposed decks at a senior/memory care facility that failed because of poor workmanship and inferior materials. The decks were on the second and third floors and access was extremely difficult. During the time our crew was removing the rot and rebuilding the structural elements of the deck, Michael visited the site and provided us with direction and advice on how to install flashing around six 12 x 12 support posts that rainfall on the deck would have to flow around. His professional advice was invaluable and it gave me and the owners of the building the confidence that the problem would not reoccur. His crews were very professional and their attention to detail was impressive. The final product was stunning and everyone involved with the project was duly impressed.
